Land-based producer Pure Salmon to open Abu Dhabi headquarters

Move comes under a partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), which will see the company benefit from financial and non-financial incentives.

Land-based salmon multinational Pure Salmon, backed by investment group 8F, plans establish its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of
the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Pure Salmon is currently based in Singapore.
The move comes under a partnership between the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), which will see the company benefit from financial and
non-financial incentives to expand local food sustainability.

The partnership is part of an Abu Dhabi Investment Office’s AED 2 billion (€465 million/$545 million) innovation
program aimed at bringing innovative companies to the emirate.
Pure Salmon’s Abu Dhabi headquarters will manage global production facilities in Poland, Japan, the United States
and France, which are expected to contribute 40,500 metric tons of production to the company’s 260,000-ton global
target.
Two weeks ago Pure Salmon unveiled a new branded smoked salmon range aimed at French retail.
In June 8F bought RAS equipment supplier Kruger Kaldnes, creating a vertically integrated land-based salmon
farmer.
